Meet Johanna
I'm Johanna Leonhardsberger — creator of A Road Less Travelled and someone who has lived with Bipolar 1, OCD, and Anxiety for close to 39 years.
I haven't experienced clinical depression in 33 years. I haven't been psychotic in 25. I do still get elevated at times — but with the right tools and extra medication, I can usually manage that safely at home.
Recovery doesn't mean perfect — I've had hard moments along the way. But the difference is this: I know my early warning signs, I know my tools, and I know when to act.
I'm not past recovery — I'm past recovering and mostly into thriving.
